Mr. P. E. Bacon formerly a resident of Trenton and later of this city, died at Eldorado Springs, Mo., where he had gone in search of health, on last Monday the 14th inst. His remains were brought to this city and interred in the City Cemetery Wednesday afternoon, services being held from the Christian church. Mr. Bacon was well advanced in age, being probably about 70 years old. He leaves a wide circle of friends in Christian and Todd counties, whose sympathies are extended to his family.
