Services were to be held for Mr. Elsie Kimberling [sic] Bellamy, 91 at 3:00 p.m. at Heninger Funeral Home.

Burial was to follow in Riverside Cemetery.

The Rev. William Oakes, a former pastor, officiated, assisted by her present pastor, the Rev. Hobart Lyle.

Mrs. Bellamy died at 8:00 p.m. Monday in Jennie Stuart Hospital, following a lingering illness.

A native of Mercer County, Ohio, she was born August 11, 1875, the daughter of the late D.H. and Agnes Teaford Kimberling [sic] and had lived in this community most of her life.

Mrs. Bellamy was the widow of H. Porter Bellamy. She was a member of Hebron Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William C. Adams of the county; two grandchildren, William C. Adams Jr. and Mrs. John D Brown; two great-grandchildren and three nieces, Mrs. Ruth Thurmond and Mrs. Lander Cayce, both of the city and Mrs. Richardson Dickinson Sr. of Trenton.

Pallbearers were: Kendrick VanCleave, John W. Adams. William Pierce, Lindsey McGaughey and Frank B. Lacy III.
