Michael John Copeland, 70, passed away after a short illness on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012. Michael was born in England. He worked 32 years for The Miami Law Firm of Steel, Hector, and Davis. He retired to Ocala in 1996. He was an avid sports fan, with season tickets to watch The Miami Dolphins and The University of Miami Hurricanes play. He leaves behind his loving wife, Georgianna, of 44 years; Sister Patricia Lewis of Miami Springs, FL; Brother Patric Copeland of VA; Sister-in-law Maura of VA; Mother-in-law, Dorothy G. Wilcox of Ocala, FL; one niece and two nephews. He also leaves behind cousins in Canada, France, and Africa. A funeral service will be held Friday, April 13, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services-TimberRidge Chapel, 9695 SW 110th Street, Ocala, FL 34481, with Jeremy Culpepper officiating.
