Cohen, Guido Mike 10-19-1919 - 04-12-2012 Born: Smyrna Turkey, 6th child of Avram Behor & Julia Behora Cohen. All of his older siblings died in infancy. At age 2, family moved to NYC. Brother Benjamin b 1921. Due to death of her younger children, Julia did not cut Mike's hair until he was 8. Photo of the day shows Mike with hair to his knees. 1932, family moved to L.A. At 20 he married Ruth. Daughter Sharon b 1940. 1942, he married Dorothy Hasson. Son Gerald b 1944, Dennis, 1946. WWII: Army Air Force as a parachute fitter on Saipan. A skilled artisan who made and upholstered furniture. Owned, Michael's Interiors in El Mirage AZ until he retired in 2010 at age 89. He married Patti Haile in 1984. Dec. ?09, moved to Sunrise in Playa Vista CA. His last two years were filled with companionship of friends and love of his family, especially brother Ben, sons Gerry and Dennis, and "adopted" daughters Vicki, Greta & Sandy. Survived by wife, brother, sons and daughter, grandchildren Desire, Adam, Laurette and Wendy, 3 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. He loved fishing, women and great danes.
