Billy was born August 12, 1931 in Hillsboro. He was a retired presser at RRAD & Evangelist. Serving in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam, he was a veteran of the U. S. Marines. He was a member of Disabled Veterans, Christian Motorcycle Association, Telford Prison Ministries, USMC Vietnam Helicopter Association, March for Jesus, and Godley Prairie Community Church in New Boston. Preceding him in death were four brothers and one sister. Survivors include his wife, Arlene Bybee Duke of New Boston; two sons and daughter-in-law, Billy J. Duke of Amarillo and James D. and Wanda Duke of New Boston; two daughters and son-in-law, Rita J. and Bob Kisko of Indianapolis, Indiana and Charlene Batchelor of New Boston; two brothers, James O. Duke, Jr. and Lynn Duke both of Cleburne; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many other nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and loving family and friends.
