WIESCHOWSKI, Blanche, 82, of Alpena died on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005, at Tendercare Alpena.
She is survived by several special nieces, nephews and cousins.
Per her wishes, she has been taken from the Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home for cremation.
Friends and family will gather at St. Mary Catholic Church on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2005, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial begins with the Rev. Greg McCallum and Rev. Jim Kendziorski officiating.

Blanche Wieschowski, age 82, of Alpena, Mich., passed away on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005, at Tendercare Alpena.
Blanche was born on March 27, 1923, to the late Frank and Martha (Heyka) Panowicz in Alpena, Mich. She married Leonard J. Wieschowski on June 17, 1950, at St. Mary Catholic Church. Leonard preceded her in death on May 18, 1976. Blanche was employed as a nurse at Alpena General Hospital in the Obstetrics and Surgical Departments for 15 years, retiring in 1955. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church for many years.
Blanche is survived by several special nieces, nephews and cousins. Blanche was preceded in death by one brother, John Kasubowski and one sister, Florence Watros.
Per her wishes Blanche has been takes from Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home for cremation.
Friends and family will gather at St. Mary Catholic Church on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2005, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial begins with the Rev. Fr. Greg McCallum and Rev. Fr. Jim Kendziorski officiating.
