He was a graduate of Frederick High School (1952) and served in the US Air Force and the Air National Guard, flying missions around the world. He was an aide to the late Senator Charles "Mac" Mathias Jr., and circulation director for 'The Frederick News Post.'
Funeral services at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home on Feb. 13, followed by interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
