TONY AIGNER, 71, PASSES SATURDAY

Toney Aigner, 71, 1811 Crestline Ave, Sheffield, died Saturday morning at 11:05 o'clock at Colbert County Hospital after an illness of two months.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs Emma Aigner; three sons, Paul, Tuscumbia; Joseph L, Sheffield; James, St. Louis, MO; three daughters, Mrs. Ivon Anderson, Sheffield; Mrs. Helen DeWitt, Baltimore, Md; Mrs Josephine Badfell, St. Louis, MO; four brothers, Joe, Tuscumbia; Pete, Tuscumbia; Simon and John, Muskegee, Okla; three sisters, Mrs Louise Gattman, Tuscumbia; Miss Frances Aigner, Tuscumbia; and Mrs Donna Greuel, Muskegee, Okla; and a number of grandchildren.

Mr. Aigner was born in Lauderdale County, but had made his home in Colbert for the past 30 years. He was a farmer.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Brown-Service funeral home in Tuscumbia. Burial will be in Sheffield cemetery. Rev Albert Smith, pastor of First Baptist Church, Sheffield, will officiate.

Active bearers will be Clyde and Willie Hill, B. O. Cochran, Victor Despigno, Clayton Miller, and Frank Campbell.
