He was a Graduate of Gaston High School, a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine-Class of 1958 and Residency at Duke University Medical School. He was a retired Radiologist at Stanly Memorial Hospital and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Interment in Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia.
