Arvil graduated from Hughes High School. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Army. Arvil lived in the Maysville and Lindsay area all of his life. He was an independent retail businessman, and he enjoyed landscaping and working with livestock.
Mr. Brown is survived by his children: Kenneth Brown and wife Jeannie, Greg Brown and wife Michelle, Jason Brown and wife Kelly, Frankie Brown and Angie Brown and his grandchildren: Nick, Jeremy, Michael, Garrid, Jonathon, Kell, Landon, Kaleb and Kotton Brown along with one great-granddaughter, Kaydence Lee Brown.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Lois Brown, one brother, Ray Brown and one sister, Bertie Mayhan.
Funeral services for Mr. Brown are set for two o'clock p.m. on Wednesday, April 11th, 2012 at the B.G. Boydston Funeral Home Chapel, located at 308 S.W. Third Street in Lindsay, Oklahoma, with Bro. Tim Carr officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma with military honors by American Legion Ball Smith Post # 23. Services are under the direction of B. G.
