BEVERLY HART, 83 LAKEVIEW

Beverly Hart, 83, of Lakeview, passed away Monday, Oct. 13, 2008.

Beverly was born in Lakeview on Oct. 21, 1924, the daughter of Paul and Mabel (Essinger) Hyatt, both deceased.

Beverly was raised in the Lakeview area and graduated from Lakeview High School in 1942. Beverly met the love of her life, Donald Hart, in Greenville, and the two of them were married Jan. 13, 1946, in Lakeview.

Beverly was employed at Leppink's in Lakeview for 22 years and also spent her time as a full-time homemaker, where she enjoyed quilting, baking cookies and reading. She was a member of United Church of Christ and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary,

Beverly is survived by her three chil-dren, Richard (Connie) Hart of Lowell, Stephen (Deedra) Hart of California, Robin (Jon) Merritt of Lakeview; grandchildren, Michael Hart, Kari (Dave) Shurlow, Nicole Merritt, Jon Merritt, Katie Hart, Aimee Gallagher; two great-grandchildren, Kyler Shurlow, Trevor Shurlow; and special niece, Sue Robinett.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, on Jan. 6, 1982; and her sister, Esther Backus of Lansing.

At Beverly's request, cremation has already taken place with a private burial in West Pine Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Beverly's honor may be given to the Cook Scholarship Fund.

The family has entrusted arrangements for Beverly to Brigham Funeral Chapel, Lakeview.
