Fern M. Alborn, age 68 of Canton, OH passed away Monday evening in the Arbors of Canton following an extended illness. Born in Canton on September 17, 1931 she was a retired employee of the Hoover Co. She was a member of the Smoketown Church in Navarre. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Sr. and Gladys McClellan, a brother, Vernon Seibert and a sister, Nancy McClellan. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Douglas Elder of Winston-Salem, NC., Diane and John Mincks of Massillon, Darcy and Tim Michaels of Greentown, OH and Darla and Robert Thurman of North Canton. There are nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; her brother, George McClellan Jr. of Strasburg, OH and two sisters, Donna Davis and Mary Widder both of Beach City, OH.
