He was born Aug. 30, 1921, in Orangeburg, S.C., to Thomas and Agnes Bozard Antley. He married Eugenia Hughes on Aug. 23, 1944, in Cope, S.C. She died May 13, 2010.
He attended schools in Orangeburg and Cope. He served six years in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Philippines on a Navy bomber. He worked at Verl Walker Radio and Timber Products, both in Medford.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas of Brookings, and Michael of Eugene; a brother, Murray of South Carolina; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
