Frank E. Beebe, Sr., 60, of Afton died October 22 at Little Traverse Hospital following a lingering illness. The body is at the A.M. Schneider Funeral Home in Indian River where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. Elder Leroy Ormsbee of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will officiate and interment will be in Silver Lake cemetery in Wolverine.
He was born February 25, 1915 in Ellis Township, Cheboygan County. He was a veteran of World War II.
Mr. Beebe had retired as manager of the Water Department for the City of Gaylord.
Survivors include three sons; Frank E. Beebe, Jr., and James C. Beebe both of Pontiac, Thomas L. Beebe of Tawas City; three grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Sarah Beebe of Afton; one step-son, Gordon A. Beard of Clarkston; three brothers, William Bebee of Afton, Bert Bebee of Detroit and Robert Bebee of Waldron; one sister, Mrs. Steve (Alice) LaLone of Lansing.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.
