Ann Marie (Butts) Gagne, 71, of Lawrence died on Monday, April 9, 2012 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late James S. Gagne. Born in Quincy, she was the daughter of James and Ellen (McCarthy) Butts. Ann Marie was a graduate of North Quincy High School and later was employed with the Lawrence School system as a Paraprofessional. Mrs. Gagne enjoyed reading and time spent with her loving grandchildren, Carey James, Jordyn, Jessica, Haleigh, Devon, Dexter and great-grandson Jayce. She leaves three children; Kimberly M. Poole and her husband Michael of Haverhill, Steven J. Gagne of Lawrence and Christopher M. Gagne and his companion Margaret Pare of Dracut. Also leaving a sister Elizabeth Mastrandrea and her husband Anthony of Norwood, a brother James Butts of Rockland and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings; Don, John, Charlie, Bill and Helen. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel, St. Augustines Chapel, 124 Ames St., Lawrence. Family and friends are welcome to visitation on Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. in the Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen, MA. Burial in Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence, MA, if desired, donations can be made in Ann Maries memory to the charity of your choice.
