Mildred Irene Bundren, 92, a resident of Carrier Mills Nursing Home, formerly of New Burnside, died at noon Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007, at the Carrier Mills Nursing Home.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Tim Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in Wise-Robinson Cemetery near New Burnside. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007, at the funeral home.

She was born on April 28, 1915, in Marion to the late Monroe "Doc" and Agnes (Johnson) Hill. She married Lloyd Bundren, who preceded her in death.

She was a member of the New Burnside Community Church, which she loved very much as well as the whole New Burnside community.

She is survived by a sister, Carmen (Fred) Issler of Harrisburg; two grandsons, Daniel Fisher and Joseph Fisher, both of Creal Springs; a son-in-law, Danny Fisher of Marion; a brother-in-law, Orval Bundren of Marion; two sisters-in-law, Edith (J.B.) Tanner and Opal Hill, both of Marion; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Fisher; a brother, the Rev. Joseph Hill; a sister, Lola Hill; and a nephew, Joel Hill.
