Erhardt W. Hunecke, 87, of Staunton, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 4:30 PM at Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born in May 6, 1924 in Olive Township, Madison County, Illinois to the Late Mr. Otto F. Hunecke and Mrs. Anna (Hering) Hunecke. He married Hilda Sievers on November 27, 1971 in Livingston, Illinois and she survives. He retired after many years as a self-employed farmer. He also worked as a cashier at the Diamonds Restaurant for 4 years. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Staunton, Illinois, where he was a longtime Elder and held many other offices at church.He is survived by his wife - Hilda Hunecke of Staunton, IL; 1 daughter - Karen (Brian) Dustman of Staunton, IL; 2 grandchildren - Hannah and Andrew Dustman of Staunton, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother - William Hunecke.
