Bobby Joe Farr, age 32, a native of Coalfield and a resident of Oliver Springs, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012, at his home.
Bobby was born October 5, 1979 in Oak Ridge. He was a lifelong resident of this area.
Before his disability he was employed as a fork lift operator at the K-25 plant in Oak Ridge. Bobby loved his family, outdoor activities and sports.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jimmy Farr of Coalfield, and by his maternal grandparents, Billy Guy and Otella Harvey.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Heather Johnson Farr of Oliver Springs, by sons, Bobby and Tommy Farr of Oliver Springs, by his parents, Jimmy and Pamela Farr of Coalfield, by brothers; Jimmy Farr and wife, Cameo of Mossy Grove, Billy Farr and wife, Missy of Wartburg and Joseph Farr and wife, Christy of Coalfield, and by his paternal grandmother, Wilma Farr of Coalfield.
He is also survived by his in-laws, Curtis and Judy Johnson of Paducah, KY, by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 14, 2012, between the hours of 4:00 and 6:00 pm at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 6:00 pm, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Garvan Walls officiating. Burial and graveside services will be held Sunday, April 15, 2012, at 2:00 pm, at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Sharp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
