---Edna S. Crawford, 92, of Macon passed away Wednesday (August 8, 1990) at the Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon.
---Born February 9, 1898 in Anabel, she was the daughter of George and Kate Ladd Scott. On June 1, 1944 in Kansas City, she married Herschel Crawford who preceded her in death on May 14, 1986.
---Also preceding her in death were her parents; three sisters and one brother.
---Surviving are one brother, Vernon Scott of Austin, Texas, a brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, including Maurine Romjue of Atlanta.
---Mrs. Crawford was a 1918 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia. During World War I, she was a Red Cross volunteer in France. For many years she taught in the Kansas City, Kansas School System. In 1944, she moved to a farm east of Atlanta where she served as a leader of the Home Pioneer 4-H Club for 26 years.
---Mrs. Crawford was an ordained elder and member of the Community Presbyterian Church in La Plata. For more than 60 years, she was a Red Cross volunteer.
---Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon (August 11, 1990) at the Community Presbyterian Church in La Plata under the direction of the Travis Funeral Chapel, La Plata. The Rev. Harold Johnson of Omaha, Nebraska, a former La Plata minister conducted the services. Burial was in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery, east of Atlanta.
---Bearers were members of the Home Pioneer 4-H Club.
