LAFAYETTE -- Mrs. Annie Hurst, 85, of LaFayette died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000 at her residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at LaFayette Heights Baptist Church in LaFayette with the Rev. Paul Howard officiating. Burial will follow in LaFayette City Cemetery.
Mrs. Hurst is survived by five children, Edward (Marie) Hurst, Jo Ann Hunt, Peggy (Troy) Blanton and Larry (Cindy) Hurst, all of LaFay-ette, and James (Nancy) Hurst of West Point; one sister, Vera Irvin of Valley; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Born Feb. 8, 1915 in Chambers County, Mrs. Hurst was a homemaker and a member of LaFayette Heights Baptist Church in LaFayette. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Hurst.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Feb. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jeff Jones Funeral Home.
