Mrs Frederic H Bontecou Sr, Millbrook, died at home Dec 5. The former Cornelia Metcalf, she was the daughter of late US Senator Jesse H Metcalf of Rhode Island, and Harriet Thruston Metcalf. She was a descendant of an old Dutchess county family, the Rowes, on her mother's side. She married on Aug 17, 1918. Survived by sons Jesse, Millbrook; Frederic H Jr; daughters Mrs Clive (Susan) DuVal, McLean, NJ [sic]; Mrs Rees (Harriet) Harris, Salisbury, CT
