He second married Janet Lee Brown on 24 Dec 1970 in Carmel, Hancock Co, Indiana. She had a daughter, Toni Le Barker Gilliam.
Paul attended Broad Ripple High School in Indianapolis, Marion Co, Indiana. He retired on disability in 1988 from UPS (United Parcel Service) in Indianapolis where he had been manager for four years. He retired because of complications after heart by-pass surgery that went bad. An additional 12-14 surgeries were required. He had surgeries to remove infected tissue from staph infection.
He died at age 62 years 9 months 5 days.
