He was united in marriage to Ella Mildred Foster of Montgomery City on August 8, 1934 and established their home on the farm near New Truxton, where they lived for 56 years. They moved to Warrenton in November 1990.
Survivors include his wife Mildred, one daughter Betty Arens of St. Louis, one son-in-law Ted and two grandchildren.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, William A. and Eddie H. Schwarze.
