Amory: Arthur Addington, 58, died on Sunday morning at the Gilmore Memorial Hospital. A native of the Bethlehem Community in Monroe County, he married Velma Jewel Cantrell and she survives him. He was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Graveside services were at the Bethlehem Cemetery.
Survivors other then his wife include his father, Elzie Houston Addington, Amory, MS.; a daughter, Mrs. Wynell Owings, Amory, MS.; three brothers, Dow and Olen Addington both of Amory, MS., Dexter Addington, Smithville; four sisters, Mrs. Clarence Plunkett, Smithville, Mrs. Stanley Hughes, Amory, MS., Mrs. Velda Stoddard, Hatley, Alabama, Mrs. Charles Roberts, Phoenix, AR; two grandchildren.
