Randy was born in Nampa on Feb. 20, 1960, to Joann and Ted White. They later divorced and Joann married Wes Florom in December 1960. Wes raised Randy as his own.
Randy attended various Treasure Valley schools and graduated from Vallivue High School in 1980. He then joined the Army National Guard and served two terms.
He then attended trucking school and drove long haul, and worked for many local companies including Farmer's Co-op Ditch Company for several years on the burn crew.
