MILLPORT, Ala. - Dorothy Carmack, 79, died April 16, 2012, at Fayette Medical Center. Services are today at 2 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Walden and the Rev. Terry Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Millport City Cemetery. Mrs. Carmack was a member of Steens Baptist Church and was retired from Seminole.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Ruth Lavender Cunningham; husband, John Albert Carmack; sister, Ruby Cash; and brother, Alton Cunningham.
Survivors include her daughters, Jo Ann Foster and Cindy Irvin; sons, Warren Robinson and the Rev. Jerry Robinson; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Chris Irvin, Chad Robinson, Tim White, Kevin Foster, Sean Gann, Heath Robinson, Wayne Robinson and Lynn Shaw.
