The numerous friends and acquaintances of Henry Abbott will be pained to learn of his death, it having occurred April 6, after an illness of two weeks. He his been a resident of the town of Clay for the past thirty-five yours. He is one who will be missed . As a neighbor he was kind and obliging ; as a church member he was faithful, and seldom was he absent from the place of worship. He was retiring in his manner; he was several times elected to offices of trust by his fellow-townsmen. The funeral will be held Thursday, April 8th, at eleven o'clock, at his house.
