Funeral services for Samuel A.Adams, 33 ,
9820 Bradley,will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday
in the First Assembley of God Church with
burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.Hubbard
Kelly Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements. He died about 1 p.m. Monday
in Medical Center Hospital after a twelve
day illness.
Born in Caddo June 22, 1937, he was married
to Joan Hayes August 2,1968 in Odessa. He
came here from Brownfield in 1954 and worked
as a plant operator for El Paso Products Co.
He was a member of the First Assembly Of
God Church.
Survivors are his wife,a daughter,Sonia Ann,
and a son,Samuel Jr., all of the home; his
parents,Mr.amd Mrs. W.R.Adams of 507 East
43rd; four brothers,D.G.Adams of Hamlin,
J.D.Adams of Denver,Colorado; Doyle Adams
of Rotan and Jerry Adams of Odessa;a sister,
Mrs.Ruth Archer of Odessa, and the maternal
grandparents,Mr.& Mrs.W.D.Adams of Tipton,
Oklahoma,and a maternal grandmother, Mrs.
R.E.Kemp of Throckmorton.
