Louise (nee Lane) Belford, age 86, of Wheatfield, died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at her residence, after a long illness. Born in DuBois, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late George and Edna (nee Gearhart) Lane. Mrs. Belford was a member of the Niagara County Senior Citizens.

She is survived by her husband, William H. Belford, Jr.; and four children, Timothy (Sue) Belford of Douglasville, Pennsylvania, Deborah (Donald) Merhar of Richland, Washington, William H. Belford, III of North Tonawanda, New York, and Lisa (John) Meczynski of Amherst, New York. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
