Major League Baseball Player. Born in Nokomis, Illinois, he was a right handed pitcher making his debut with the Brooklyn Dodgers on April 24, 1948. For two seasons, he played mainly as a relief pitcher with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1948 and Chicago Cubs in 1949. He died in Saint Paul, Minnesota, at the age of 84.
