Charlie C. Daniels, 82, of 119 E. Whitaker Mill Rd., died Sunday at Rex Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Effie Daniels; two sons, Archie Daniels of Albuquerque, N. M., Gurthie Daniels of Knightdale; six daughters, Mrs. Hettie Green, Mrs. Sarah Holder, Miss Vivian Daniels, Miss Ella Mae Daniels and Miss Pearl Daniels of Raleigh, Mrs. Juanita Andrews of Zebulon two brothers, Albert Daniels of Neuse, Allan Daniels of Petersburg, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Mae Wall of Raleigh; 22 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral services for Charlie C. Daniels, 82, of 1190 E. Whitaker Mill Rd., who died Sunday night, will be held today at 2 p.m. at Knightdale Baptist Church. The Rev. Jack . Painter, the Rev. Leo Stanis, and the Rev. Oliver Hopkins will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
