Stephen son of Lazarus and Sarah Hollister, was born March 8, 1776; married Nov. 27, 1796. Anna Sprague who was born Aug. 29, 1779, was a hatter, but made farming his principal business; resided in Cobbleskill, NY. until about 1818, when he removed with his family to Cattaragus Co., NY. He afterward removed to Milwaukee, Wis. in 1839, where he and his wife both died; she Dec. 2, 1851, and he May, 29, 1854.
