She attended school in Oak Ridge and went on to get her Cosmetology license and then became a full time Mom. She grew up in Montgomery County area and was loved by all. Kala loved her children and loved being a mother. Her children were her life.
Kala is survived by husband, Keith Schuchardt; her three beautiful sons, Kamden, Keaton and Keegan; loving parents, Donnie and Linda Golden; grandparents, Rose Golden, Burt and Gayle Ray; great grandmother, Ruby Marie Alston; brother Kenneth Woodard and wife Mindy; sister Dana Golden; nieces, nephews, as well as many cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 2 PM in the First Baptist Church, 12177 I-45 North, Willis Texas. Officiates were Father Ed Hendricks, Brother Wayne Law and Brother Charles Smith. Interment immediately followed service at Mount Zion Cemetery in the Woodlands.
In lieu of flowers the family has established a memorial fund at the Spirit of Texas Bank. Please make checks payable to "Schuchardt Family Benefit". You may refer to website www.spiritoftexasbank.com for their locations.
A Memorial Concert Benefit was held on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at 2 PM in Papa's Ice House on Lake Conroe.
