Lily Marie was born on August 2, 2010. At just six months old she was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia called ALL. Lily spent much of her life at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
Lily was called "Fighting Princess Lily". She was such a happy little baby and never seemed as sick as she really was. Lily fought bravely until her last breath. For 14 months she fought against cancer with a smile always on her face.
She was a joy to everybody who knew her and even those who didn't. She knew no stranger and loved meeting new people. She had fun at home between her treatments with her kitten and her dog and loved watching Barney. Lily has touched so many lives, a lot of those who had never even met her but still miss her.
Lily will be remembered by the many people who heard her name and saw her loving smile. She now plays in heaven with the Angels.
