Mollie Elizabeth Cochran, 81, of New Albany, died Monday, April 16, 2012, at Green Valley Care Center in New Albany.

She was a member of Branham Tabernacle and had worked for Wyandot, Inc.

She is survived by her sisters, Doris Ann Chipman and her husband, Ralph, of Framingham, Mass., and Alice Robinson and her husband, Ray, of Shrewsbury, Maine; dear friend and caretaker, Beverly Bueter, of Jeffersonville; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Ernest and Nora Bell McCubbins Simpson; husband, Shirley Eugene Cochran; sisters, Delores Mae Linder and Dorothy Jean Cochran; and brothers, Clarence Ernest and James Lee Simpson.

Funeral services for Mollie Elizabeth Cochran, 81, of New Albany, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at Coots Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial in Eastern Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
