Glenn F. Hamilton, 79, of Vamp Hill, died Tuesday, Dec. 6, at The Leader Nursing Home.
Born July 7, 1915 in Gardners, he was a son of the late John and Agnes Powell Hamilton. He was the husband of O'Dell L. Fair Hamilton, to whom he was married for 56 years.
He was a member of the Camp Hill United Methodist Church. He owned and operated Hamilton's Auto Sales in New Cumberland, Pa., for many years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Barry F. Hamilton of Harrisburg, two brothers, Charles Hamilton of Mount Holly Springs and Raymond Hamilton of New Oxford; and three sisters, Marguerite Noel and Jessica Noel, both of McSherrystown, and Alice Kennedy of Gardners.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 9, at 2 p.m. at Monahan Funeral Home, York Springs, with the Rev. Thomas R. Springsman officiating. Interment will be in Sunnside Cemetery, York Springs.
