The remains of Mrs. S.A. Brown arrived Wednesday morning from Ogden, Utah, accompanied by her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Pickering. The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the residence of Mrs. Letson, Rev. Darby, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating.
The remains were laid to rest in Red Cloud cemetery, by the side of her husband, the late A.H. Brown, and their son.
A large number of the friends of the deceased was present to pay their respects to the memory of one who during her long residence in Red Cloud they had greatly esteemed and respected.
