Frieda Henny Warnke passed away May 11, 1996 in Sandy, Utah at age 98. She was born in Uslar, Germany July 13, 1897 to Frieda Marie Jordan and Karl Heinrich. She married John Henry Warnke November 19, 1921 in Uslar. In 1925 she, her husband and son immigrated to Ashton, Idaho which held a special place in her life. She excelled at homemaking, sewing, handwork, taking care of her flower garden and assisting her husband on the farm, who died on July 1, 1966. She took great joy serving her family and associating with members of the Ashton and Sandy Senior Citizens. She remained a resident of Ashton until 1981 when she moved to California and later to Utah. She was affiliated with the Ashton Community United Methodist Church and the Queen Esther Circle. Survived by two sons, twelve grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 6 great, great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, 4 sisters, 3 brothers and 3 great, grandchildren. Graveside service held on Wednesday, May 15, 1996 at Pineview Cemetery in Ashton. Officiating the service was the Rev. Judy Johnson, pastor of the Ashton Community United Methodist Church.
