Born in Modesto, California and died unnecessarily on October 22, 2003 at the young age of 26. Frank is survived by his loving parents, Frank and Linda Champion of Elk Grove, his beloved sister Misty Champion-Freyenberger and her husband Greg and their sons Draven and Drake of El Dorado Hills. Frank is also survived by his loving Grandmothers, Mary Di Bartolo and Gerri Ramirez and Great grandmother Lucille Neil. Frank was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Emily Hansen and his maternal grandfathers, Kenneth Di Bartolo and Anthony Ramirez. Frank leaves behind his devoted girlfriend of six years Laurie Simunich. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He had numerous and wonderful friends who loved him and supported him throughout his short life. Frank attended Elk Grove HS and had worked for UPS for eight years. His passion was boxing and he won numerous awards fighting as an amateur. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service Monday, October 27, 2003, at 11:00AM at EAST LAWN ANDREWS AND GREILICH MORTUARY, 3939 Fruitridge Road. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
