Mrs. Blauser, Venus Woman, Dies Sunday
Venus - Mrs. Emma Cora Blauser, 84, a resident of this community most of her life, died unexpectedly Sunday following an extended illness. She was the wife of Albert Blauser.
She was born at Venus September 15, 1878, a daughter of William and Susan Confer.
She and Mr. Blauser were married in September 1944.
Mrs. Blauser was a member of the Venus Evangelical United Brethern Church. She also was a member of the Venus Rebekah Lodge.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three step-children, Vance R____ of Ranger, Texas; Mrs. George (Arlene) Dyers of Erie and James A. Blauser of Oil City; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Confer of Bradford; a sister, Mrs. Molly Glass of Venus.
Friends will be received in the Faller Funeral Home in Fryberg from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 10 pm today and Tuesday.
Removal will be made to the Venus EUB Church at 1 pm Wednesday with funeral services to follow in the church at 2 pm, with the pastor Rev. Wayne Beam officiating. Interment will be in the Venus Cemetery.
