Died Suddenly
Marvin William Weigand, 66, died suddenly at his home here Saturday noon, Feb. 20. Born Feb. 15, 1905 at Inman, he married Alice Hildebrand June 10, 1943 at Stafford. He was a butcher and meat cutter and lived here since 1938. He formerly worked for Jett Wood Mercantile.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his widow, Alice; three daughters, Mrs. Doyle Taylor, Stafford, Brenda and Kathie of the home; a son, Bill of the home; one sister, Mrs. Fred Grigsby, Hutchinson; brother, Robert W., Salina.
Funeral was held Wednesday 2 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. James Schacher officiating.
