Irene Roger Hendren, 72, died Thursday, December 18, 1997 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born March 10, 1925 in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Rosa Middleton. She was a homemaker, a member of the Church of Christ, the Pioneer Saddle Club, past president and vice president, and the Sunshine Homemakers.
Survivors include: her husband, Reed Hendren, Harrodsburg; one son, Joey Hendren, Smyrna, TN; one daughter, Wanda Gayle Mayes, Mercer County; two brothers, David Middleton, Atlanta, TX and Berry Middleton, Quincy, FL; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 20, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Rev. Derrell Cone and Rev. Terry Morrison officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Harold Davis, Floyd Rogers, Sonny Driscoll, Larry Chesser, Joe Gill and Delmer O'dell.
