BW Williams married mary MCGEE 5 Jul 1832 probably in Marion County, Ill. They had at least six children: Elizabeth, Amanda, Ibra, Susan, John, and Mary. He was the son of Jonathan Williams and wife Margaret, he was the first wheelwright and chair maker in the county, living on the south shore of present-day Lake Centralia near the present Antioch Cemetery. Benjamin's sister Elizabeth Williams married George W. Stribling. In 1848 Hamilton FARTHING and Benjamin W. WILLIAMS named bondsmen on guardianship of George STRIBLING's minor children along with his sister Elizabeth (Williams) STRIBLING (mother of the children). All three men are buried at Antioch Cemetery in Raccoon Township (Tennessee Prairie) Marion County, Illinois.
