The funeral service for Dorothea Ovedia (Nelson) Anderson, of St. John's Lutheran Home, will be held 1:30p.m. Thursday, April 1, at St John"s Lutheran Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Albert Lea.
Dorothea died at St. John's Lutheran Home on Monday, March 29, 2004.
Dorothea was born on March 29, 1918 in Albert Lea, the daughter of Orville and Clara Marie"Mary"(Donahue) Nelson. She attended the ALbert Lea public schools.
She married John "Ham" Anderson on June 22, 1934in Northwood, Iowa. They lived in Arizona and Calif. and her later years in Albert Lea.
She was baptized and confirmed in the Our Savior's Lutheran church in Albert Lea.
Tuddy was a housewife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and making good meals for the family.
She was survived by her children;Joanne(Luvernbe) Olson, John H.(Marlene) Anderson, Mary Jane(Dwight) Stevens, Sandra(Bobby) Fischer.
