A funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Burial willbe at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Friends may call at Jolliffe Funeral Home today from 10 a.m. to noon and at the funeral. A memorial has been established to the church.
She was born Oct. 25th, 1915, at Loretto, to Frank E. and Linda B. (Harbottle) Young. She grew up and received her education in northeastern Nebraska. She married Daily C. Harsin on Feb. 13th, 1937, at Torrington, Wyo. She resided in Gering for many years where she provided daycare for children in her home until moving to Scottsbluff in 1981 where she had resided since. She was a member of the church.
She is survivied by sons and daughters-in-law Rodney and Carol Harsin of Shawnee, Kan, and L.D. and Marilyn Harsin of Independence, MO., daughters and son-in-laws; Janet Harsin Williams of Scottsbluff, Trudy and Fritz Rudow of Gering, and Deb and Clay Carlson of Scottsbluff; sisters-in-law Lige Hawley of Gering; sisters-in-law, Myrtle Young of Albion and Shirley Young and Jean Young both of Lincoln; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and two sisters.
