Jane married Jerry Clifton Rice on September 13 1955. Their son Jerry Carlton Rice was born on July 6, 1956.
Jane's second husband was James Soloman Lawson.
Jane's other children were Debborah Marie Rice, Latricia Jane Rice, Teresa Ann Rice, Karen Darline Rice, and John Anderson Rice.
Jane Passed away at Northside Hospital on Johnson Ferry Road after having an open heart operation. This was the third time she had been operated on for heart trouble. The first operation was in 1973.
