Also living in the household were Thomas Halliday, aged 44, and Anna Sankey, aged 22. William, the younger, was shown to be engaged in a butter and eggs business. His father was shown to be a clerk.
On April 27, 1942, William Forman Halliday, aged 60, stated that he resided at 135 Edwards Avenue, Sayville, NY, was born October 4, 1879 in Brooklyn, NY, worked in Brentwood for Hose Girod Corp., and gave the name of Edith G. Halliday as his nearest relative when the registered for the draft during World War II.
Obituary - William F. Halliday, 93, of Huntington, died on November 24, at the Daleview Nursing Home, Farmingdale.
Born in New York City, he had lived in Sayville for many years until the death of his wife, Edith, in 1964. Mr. Halliday was a retired real estate salesman.
He is survived by one son, Robert F. Halliday of Mishwaka, Ind.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were held in the Raynor Funeral Home, West Sayville, on Monday afternoon, November 27, with Rev. Trevor A. Hausske, pastor of the Sayville Congregational Church, officiating, followed by interment in Union Cemetery, Sayville.
