Wife of local resident died - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Addie Acklin, 62, of Bossier City were held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Rose-Neath Funeral home's Marshall Funeral chapel with Dr. D. L. Dykes, pastor of First United Methodist Church, and the Rev. Jim Moore, associate pastor, officiating. Burial was in Salem Cemetery in Athens. Mrs. Acklin was the aunt of Jakie Acklin of this city. Also surviving Mrs. Acklin are her husband, Claude L. Acklin of Bossier City; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Dowling and Mrs. Ella F. Riley, both of Shreveport; and a brother, Edwin W. Rice of Ft.
