Elias Bethel, aged 69 years, died at the home of his son-in-law, Thos. Ekey, near New Florence Sunday, November 6, 1927. of cancer of the stomach, from which ailment he had suffered for some time. He leaves a wife and three children, as follows; Noah of New Florence, Ernest of Centralia and Mrs. Frank Hill of Moberly. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church in New Florence Monday afternoon.. conducted by Rev. S. E. McDonnald and interment was in the New Florence cemetery.
