EICHINGER, JOSEPH A. SR. 80, - of Egg Harbor City, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2008 at ARMC after a heroic battle with cancer. Born and raised in Egg Harbor City, and spent 16 years in Florida before returning home 2 years ago. He was a Naval Veteran of WW II, a member of American Legion Post #158 of Egg Harbor City, member of the Exchange Club, Hiriam T. Dewey Masonic Lodge of Egg Harbor City, and a life member of Egg Harbor City Vol. Fire Co. with 26 years of Service. He is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Anna Eichinger, his sister Virginia Sartorio and Grandson Jason Eichinger. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jennie Guinta Eichinger; his brother Max Eichinger; his 3 sons, Joe Eichinger, Jr. of Island Heights, John and Donna Farina Eichinger of Egg Harbor City, Jeff and Wendy Eichinger of EHT; also surviving four grandsons, two great-granddaughters, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. His Memorial Service will be 7:00 PM, Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at Wimberg Funeral Home, 400 Liverpool Avenue, Egg Harbor City, (609-965-0357) where a Gathering will begin at 6:00 PM.
